Construction Disputes NQ

I’m working with a highly regarded international law firm looking to add a Construction Disputes Solicitor to its Manchester team.

The firm has an established construction practice with a strong national reputation, advising on major development, regeneration and infrastructure projects. The team works closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Planning, Banking and Corporate, offering exposure to a varied client base and high-quality work.

The role

You’ll join a well-established Projects & Construction team, working on a broad range of contentious construction matters, including adjudications, litigation, arbitration and dispute avoidance.

The team advises developers, contractors and public sector organisations on complex construction projects, giving you the opportunity to build your experience across a varied caseload.

The role sits within the wider construction team, so it isn’t limited to contentious work. There will also be opportunities to get involved in non-contentious construction matters, giving you a broader experience across the sector.

Who they’re looking for

• An NQ+ Solicitor with a solid grounding in contentious construction, ideally gained through a training seat or post-qualification experience.
• Someone with an interest in developing their technical expertise across construction disputes.
• A commercially minded, proactive individual who is keen to get involved in quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective client relationships.
