Construction Electrician

Nova Construction Company in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to carry out electrical installation, wiring, testing and maintenance on construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install and route electrical wires and cables, conduits, trunking and cable trays.

• Install, wire, terminate and label distribution boards (DBs), circuit breakers and electrical circuits according to approved drawings.

• Install sockets, switches, lighting points, light fittings, isolators and related electrical accessories.

• Read electrical layouts and wiring diagrams and follow the site engineer’s instructions.

• Identify and repair electrical faults, damaged wiring and faulty components.

• Carry out electrical testing and checks, including continuity, insulation and earthing, using appropriate test equipment.

• Coordinate with site engineers and other trades, report material requirements and keep accurate progress and handover records.

• Follow site safety and electrical isolation procedures, use the required PPE and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience as an electrician on construction projects.

• Strong practical skills in cable installation, wire pulling, cable termination, DB work, sockets, lighting and electrical troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with single-phase and three-phase installations and electrical testing tools.

• Ability to read electrical drawings, work independently and deliver neat, reliable work.

• Good teamwork, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety.

• UAE construction experience and an electrical trade certificate or diploma are preferred.
