Construction Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Construction Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and coordinating construction activities, ensuring projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Coordinate site teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and UAE regulations.
• Identify technical issues on site and coordinate solutions with the relevant engineering and project teams.
• Monitor materials, workmanship, and construction methods.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections and support testing and approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and site procedures.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and report delays, variations, or technical issues.
• Support quantity measurements, material requirements, and project cost monitoring when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of construction/site experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and site coordination.
• Experience working with contractors and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
