Construction Engineer

Key Responsibilities :   

1. Participate with the project team from the early phase (conceptual/FEED and detailed design) 
       to ensure the best accessibility and constructability during the construction / erection / installation phase.

2. Lead, direct, and oversee on-site construction activities for new greenfield plant 
       establishments, brownfield expansions, and facility revamping projects.

3. Manage the safe erection and installation of both building structures and super steel  
       structures, including specialized modular / skid units and stick-built.

4. Collaborate closely with Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Process and Electrical, Instrument and Control engineers to ensure smooth integration of construction works with the approved for construction basis, overall plant design and equipment layout.

5. Serve as a primary liaison on-site among project manager, EPC contractors, suppliers, and  
        internal operations teams to ensure aligned and integrated project execution.

6. Ensure all construction activities and contractor operations strictly adhere to safety,  
       environmental, and local regulations, as well as company policies and high-quality  
       international standards.

7. Track and Monitor construction schedules, physical progress, and resource utilization to  
       ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

8. Conduct daily site inspection to ensure work quality, resolving on-site engineering challenges,  
       technical constraints and constructability issues.

9. Collaborate with internal team on foreseen permit requirement for government authority approaching.

 
 
Qualification :   

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

2. Minimum 7 to 10 years of progressive experiences in construction engineering, site  
       management and project execution, preferably within process manufacturing, heavy  
       industry, edible oil, food and feed industries.

3. Proven track record managing both greenfield plant construction and brownfield revamping  
       projects, with a strong technical understanding of structural buildings (stick build and  skid/modular structures).

4. Strong ability to work cross-functionally and manage multidisciplinary interfaces (civil,  
       mechanical, piping, process, Electrical and Instrument and Control) alongside external EPC contractors.

5. Familiarity with project management principles, schedule and progress monitoring, budgetary  
       and construction work quality control

6. Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS) and project management tools  
       (e.g., MS Project, Planner, Primavera).

7. Having a knowledge on permit and regulatory requirement.

8. Holding a Registered Thai Professional Engineering License (Associate Engineer / ภาคีวิศวกร or  
       higher) is highly desirable.

9. Fluent in English for verbal communication, written documentation, and technical understanding.
