Construction Engineer (Rail Project) | Immediate/Freelance/Retired Welcome

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise rail construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, site activities, and contractor performance.
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and method statements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on site.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved within the planned schedule and budget.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in construction, infrastructure, railway, MRT, LRT, transit, transportation, or large-scale projects.
• Experience in rail-related projects will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with construction standards, project coordination, and site supervision.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
