Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive construction cost estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed proposals.
• Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs to accurately determine material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to negotiate pricing and scope adjustments that align with project budgets.
• Analyze market trends and pricing data to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather quotes and validate pricing accuracy.
• Assist in project management tasks by tracking costs, change orders, and budget adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
