Construction Estimator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our commercial construction projects. The estimator will oversee project development from paper to completion, focusing on: Rough and Finish Carpentry and overall construction estimating.

• Accurate estimation of production costs.
• Obtaining Vendor and Subcontractor qualified bids
• Resource planning within budget constraints.
• Logistics mapping for proposals.
• Coordination with stakeholders (subcontractors, PMs, and clients).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and job walks for bid preparation.
• Review all front ends, plans, and specifications
• Review and integrate specifications, permits, and requirements into bids.
• Obtain subcontractor/vendor quotes and evaluate proposals.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, material lists, and budgets.
• Utilize estimating software for accuracy.
• Coordinate insurance reviews and contractual compliance.
• Maintain professional communication and follow-up with clients and teams.
• Perform post-project audits and provide feedback for improvement.
• Attend outreach events to foster client relationships.

• Communication and running meetings/reviews with clients
• Detail Oriented

Computer Proficiency

• Microsoft Office, Onscreen Take Off, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, Procore (or similar).
• Building Connected

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s in construction, engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 2 years of experience as an estimator with a general contractor.
• Expertise in rough carpentry and lumber take-offs.

MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test

• Complete a pre-employment background check

• Have reliable transportation to the office and client meetings

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
