Construction Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our residential construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and efficient project execution. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality construction solutions on time and within budget, fueling our growth and reputation in the industry. Essential Duties

· Performs quality detailed evaluations of a project.

· Attend job walks, pre-bid meeting and/or customer meetings to obtain full scope of project.

· Develop full estimate for distribution within pricing authority

· Partner with Account Manager to win estimates for Property Revival

· Communicates with customer or agencies to clarify scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements, and documents these clarifications

· Conducts reviews of development and pricing of value alternative opportunities.

· Actively participates in the internal estimate review process

· After the bid, partner with Transaction Coordinator, Designer and Field Staff to organize all bid information for future reference

· In conjunction with Transaction Coordinator track inactive/on hold estimates for trend analysis

· Aids field operations with change order pricing if needed

· Directs, coordinates and provides information and documents to subcontractors/vendors

· Prepares contractual exhibits for scope of work for final contractor.

· Builds relationships with customers to obtain a competitive advantage for Property Revival

· Attends industry events and represents Property Revival to the industry in a professional capacity.

· Builds and maintains relationships with Property Revival staff, clients, vendors and industry affiliates

· Keeps current with latest estimating technology and techniques

Job Requirements

· Driver’s license and a clean driving record

· A functioning vehicle and insurance

· Required knowledge

· Working knowledge of construction documentation and pricing; able to read plans and specifications and translating them into estimates

· Working knowledge of MS Office

· General knowledge of construction principles and processes.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

· General knowledge of negotiated bids.

· Maintains a "value added" approach to estimating

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
