We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing RFP’s, blueprints, specifications, and related documentation. This role is ideal for professionals with a keen analytical mindset and strong communication skills, comfortable collaborating across teams and navigating cost analysis to deliver competitive, value-driven results. This individual will have an opportunity to grow with our team and estimating department, collaboration with operations and sales to consistently add value and insight into our cost estimating process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders during the estimating process.
• Gather and interpret proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to produce comprehensive cost estimates.
• Analyze project requirements and develop material, labor, equipment, and service cost breakdowns.
• Prepare detailed bid packages and cost reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and general conditions to consider.
• Identify important exclusions and considerations per project
• Present and define estimates in project meetings.
• Perform site visits as needed for scope validation, existing conditions assessments & documentation
• Refine and update estimates through the project lifecycle as conditions or requirements change

• Gmail / Google Meets
• Slack

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, mathematics, finance, accounting, statistics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant estimating experience in the construction industry, preferably general contracting over single trade or insurance estimating.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics, statistics, and data analysis; strong Excel or spreadsheet/database skills and experience.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprint/ Design documents, Construction RFP’s and other technical documents common for most large scale construction projects
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management: able to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with both cost data tools and take off tools within the industry such as OST, Blue beam, RSmeans, Excel, ect…

Preferred:

• 3+ years experience in cost estimation or project management.
• In-field experience with general contracting company and/or estimating.
• Experience presenting proposals to clients and internal stakeholders

Pay: $60,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
