3 Daughters Construction is a family-oriented construction company serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of residential construction, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop accurate, competitive estimates while supporting the overall project planning process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential construction, remodeling, additions, decks, and new home construction projects.
• Review architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine labor, material, and equipment requirements.
• Perform material takeoffs and calculate quantities, labor costs, and associated project expenses.
• Obtain and review pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Develop project budgets and assist with cost analysis to ensure projects remain profitable and competitive.
• Communicate with project managers, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information and clarify project requirements.
• Prepare and organize proposals, estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with project handoffs to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction.

Qualifications

• 4+ Years of previous experience in construction estimating, residential construction, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and building practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction specifications.
• Knowledge of material takeoffs, labor calculations, and construction pricing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM estimating software preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
