Invicta Construction Solutions, Inc. is a nationwide general contractor specializing in healthcare and medical facilities, commercial automotive, and retail construction. We deliver complex ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and renovations throughout the United States.

As our company continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Commercial Construction Estimator who understands the demands of healthcare construction and knows how to develop competitive, accurate, and comprehensive estimates.

We are looking for an estimator who can win work, not just put numbers on paper.

Position Overview

Invicta Construction Solutions is seeking a results-driven Commercial Construction Estimator with proven experience estimating healthcare and medical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial construction methods, subcontractor buyout, cost analysis, and competitive bidding.

This position requires someone who can independently manage the estimating process from initial plan review through final bid submission while identifying opportunities to improve pricing, reduce risk, and maximize profitability.

Healthcare and medical construction estimating experience is required. Experience with ground-up commercial construction, automotive facilities, and retail projects is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating process for healthcare projects, including medical office buildings, surgery centers, specialty clinics, and outpatient facilities.
• Perform comprehensive quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analysis across all construction divisions.
• Review architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection drawings and specifications.
• Develop competitive bid packages and solicit pricing from qualified subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify constructability concerns, value engineering opportunities, project risks, and potential cost savings.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and company leadership during preconstruction.
• Maintain and expand relationships with subcontractors and vendors nationwide.
• Track historical construction costs and market pricing to improve estimating accuracy.
• Assist with subcontractor negotiations, project handoffs, and buyout following contract award.
• Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting aggressive bid deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience with a general contractor.
• Demonstrated experience estimating healthcare and medical construction projects is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of healthcare construction requirements, including specialized MEP systems, medical gas, infection control considerations, and occupied-facility renovations.
• Proven ability to independently estimate commercial projects from conceptual budgets through final competitive bids.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, building systems, and subcontractor scopes.
• Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including bid leveling, cost analysis, and estimate development.
• Strong subcontractor relationships and the ability to obtain competitive pricing.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing deadlines, and deliver accurate estimates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience estimating ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), medical office buildings, specialty clinics, and outpatient healthcare facilities.
• Experience with ground-up commercial, automotive, and retail construction.
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific construction standards, AHCA requirements where applicable, and applicable building codes.
• Experience with design-build and negotiated construction projects.
• Established relationships with commercial subcontractors across multiple states.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
