What You'll Do

Lead Bid & Preconstruction Efforts

• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client meetings to evaluate project opportunities.
• Develop and execute winning bid strategies that align with project goals and company objectives.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives.

Prepare Accurate Cost Estimates

• Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, labor projections, material pricing, equipment costs, and subcontractor evaluations.
• Prepare comprehensive project budgets and bid packages for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Review vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure scope alignment and pricing competitiveness.
• Perform cost comparisons and evaluate potential project profitability.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction estimating experience in commercial, concrete or related construction markets.
• Experience preparing detailed project estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, materials, and project sequencing.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software and project management technology.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
