Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR to bid on FEDERAL AND MUNICIPAL PROJECTS. Must have 5+ years experience bidding on federal and municipal projects.
Duties
- Review federal and municipal government solicitations and select good projects.
- Review contract documents, to interpret project scope and requirements.
- Conduct site visits when necessary.
- Develop cost estimates.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals, including scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience bidding on municipal and federal contracts.
- 5+ years experience in the field on job sites.
- Ability material cost estimating, and pricing strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills.
- Strong federal experience.
Salary: 80k-120k
Work Location: In person
