Construction Estimator (Nightshift, Onsite)

About the role

This role involves performing construction takeoffs primarily for Multi-Family (For Rent) and Single-Family Residential (For Sale) projects, reviewing construction drawings, and analyzing project costs. You will support job costing meetings, monitor projects across various production stages, and coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely project information.

Key responsibilities

• Perform construction takeoffs for Multi-Family (For Rent) and Single-Family Residential (For Sale) projects
• Review construction drawings and itemize plan revisions and delta changes between drawing sets
• Analyze project costs by comparing completed job costs against takeoff quantities
• Track unit counts and assist with weekly job cost forecasting
• Support weekly job costing meetings and project progression through various production stages
• Assist in monitoring projects across stages including Trenching, Exterior Prime, Production, After Carpets, and Completed
• Maintain and update Supply Pro Recordables
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely project information

About you

• 3–5 years of experience in construction, engineering, project engineering, or assistant project management
• Hands-on experience performing construction takeoffs
• Experience reviewing construction drawings and analyzing project costs
• Familiarity with construction project stages and job costing
• Strong analytical and technical documentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
