Job Description

Newtown Construction LLC is seeking a motivated and organized Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone who has a general understanding of construction, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Previous construction estimating or project management experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Assist with preparing estimates, material takeoffs, and project proposals.
• Communicate with general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Develop material lists and coordinate pricing, purchasing, and deliveries.
• Assist with scheduling projects and coordinating crews.
• Track project progress, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify potential project issues and help develop solutions.
• Assist with preparing and tracking change orders.
• Ensure necessary materials, equipment, and project information are organized before work begins.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Work closely with the owner and field crews to ensure projects run efficiently.

Qualifications

• Some experience or familiarity with the construction industry preferred.
• Experience in concrete construction is a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn estimating and project management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative.

We are a small, growing construction company looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility for projects from the estimating stage through completion.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time

Work Location: Newtown Square, PA, with occasional visits to project sites.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Newtown Square, PA 19073
