About the Role

We are looking for a Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist to join our team and assist with construction estimating, architectural drawing review, quantity takeoffs, measurements, and bid preparation.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with construction/architectural drawings and Bluebeam Revu, with the ability to accurately measure project quantities and prepare professional estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Perform accurate material and quantity takeoffs.
• Use Bluebeam Revu to measure areas, lengths, quantities, and counts.
• Prepare detailed construction estimates and bid proposals.
• Identify project scope, materials, labor requirements, and discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain Excel-based estimating and quantity sheets.
• Review drawings for missing information, conflicts, and scope gaps.
• Compare drawing revisions and incorporate addenda into estimates.
• Assist with material and labor pricing.
• Prepare organized, bid-ready estimates.
• Communicate with the internal team regarding project scope, quantities, and pricing.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction estimating or quantity takeoffs.
• Practical experience reading architectural and construction drawings.
• Experience using Bluebeam Revu for takeoffs and measurements.
• Knowledge of construction materials and basic construction processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• US construction estimating experience is preferred.

Bluebeam Experience

The candidate should have experience with:

• Area measurements
• Linear measurements
• Perimeter measurements
• Count measurements
• Wall/paintable area measurements
• Drawing scale calibration
• Markups and annotations
• Markup Lists
• Quantity takeoffs
• Comparing drawing revisions
• Exporting quantities to Excel

Preferred Skills

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Practical Test

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical estimating/takeoff test using an architectural drawing set.

The test may include:

• Reviewing architectural drawings.
• Identifying project scope.
• Measuring specific areas in Bluebeam.
• Calculating quantities.
• Marking up drawings.
• Preparing an Excel quantity sheet.
• Identifying discrepancies or missing information.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: PKR 80,000 – 100,000/month, depending on experience and skill level.

Candidates with strong Bluebeam and US construction estimating experience may be considered at the higher end of the range.
