Construction Estimator/GPS equipment support

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator with specialized expertise in Topcon GPS equipment support to join our team. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost projections and seamless integration of Topcon GPS equipment into construction projects. Your energy, precision, and industry knowledge will drive successful project outcomes and foster strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates for commercial projects by analyzing blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Utilize estimating software such as Agtek, Planswift and other construction management tools to develop accurate cost projections.
• Estimate material quantities from blueprints and coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and procurement strategies.
• Support Topcon GPS equipment integration by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues on-site, and ensuring proper setup aligned with project specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams through clear communication to align expectations, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, estimating techniques, and advancements in construction technology to continuously improve estimation accuracy.
• Abiltiy to think on your feet and evolve with the construction industry in a company that isn’t afraid to take risks to stay at pace with the competition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects as a construction estimator within the commercial construction industry.
• Strong proficiency with estimating software such as Agtek, Planswift, and other construction management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.
• Ability to design GPS models.
• Skilled in negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Hands-on experience with Topcon GPS equipment support on construction sites—troubleshooting hardware/software issues and assisting with deployment processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of safety protocols and site management practices.
• Knowledge of contracts related to construction projects including scope of work, change orders, and legal considerations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
