Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Field Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring project schedules are met, maintaining safety compliance, and delivering quality workmanship across all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain and enforce project schedules and deadlines
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers
• Resolve field issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate daily reports, daily logs, and documentation within the designated project management software
• Ensure materials and equipment are delivered and used efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• OSHA certification preferred (OSHA 30 strongly preferred)
• Proficient in construction management software is a plus, training available but must be tech savvy (e.g., Procore, Contractor Foreman, or similar)
