Construction Finish Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Punch-out Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing punch-out procedures—completing final touches and ensuring all aspects of a project meet quality standards before project completion. Your expertise will help us deliver flawless results, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a broad range of construction skills, including blueprint reading, fixture installation, and various finishing trades.

Duties

• Complete punch-out lists on new construction homes prior to closing
• Perform minor repairs including drywall, paint touch-ups, trim, caulking, and hardware adjustments
• Install and adjust doors, cabinets, fixtures, and basic carpentry items
• Address warranty and service requests in occupied homes as needed
• Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to prioritize work
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites
• Identify and report larger issues that require subcontractor involvement
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and homeowner expectations

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in residential construction or handyman work
• Strong knowledge of general carpentry, drywall, and finishing trades
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with homeowners
• Basic tools required (company may provide specialty tools)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Competitive pay + vehicle allowance or company truck

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
