Construction Foreman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team in the Central Region. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead construction projects from conception through completion. As Construction Foreman, you will be the driving force behind our job sites, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. This role is critical to our success, as you will directly impact project profitability, team performance, and client satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with site safety regulations and company policies
• Managing labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and budgets
• Conducting daily site inspections and resolving technical issues that arise during construction
• Preparing and maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, timesheets, and safety documentation
• Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, architects and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements
• Training and mentoring construction crew members, fostering a culture of safety and professional excellence
• Ensuring quality control standards are met throughout all construction phases
• Managing site safety protocols and conducting toolbox talks to minimise risks and accidents
• Ordering and tracking materials and equipment to prevent project delays
• Problem-solving on site to overcome obstacles and maintain project momentum
• Producing construction progress report

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in construction supervision or a similar leadership role
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations and building codes in Singapore
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
• Sound understanding of project budgeting, cost control and resource management
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and liaise with various stakeholders
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and solve problems effectively
• Physical capability to work on construction sites and perform hands-on tasks when necessary
• Relevant construction certifications or qualifications (such as BCAA Level 3 or equivalent) are highly desirable
• Familiarity with landed house construction processes and BCA requirement
