Construction Foreman

Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Foreman, where you will lead and coordinate on-site activities to ensure the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to guide on-site activities.
• Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Primavera; adjust plans as needed to stay on track.
• Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure compliance with scope and budget.
• Enforce federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards; conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly.
• Monitor quality control processes and conduct construction site inspections to uphold high standards of workmanship.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, resource allocation, and schedule coordination for seamless project execution.
• Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction management software for documentation and communication.
• Lead blueprint reading sessions with teams; interpret technical drawings to resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Supervise the review of construction schedules; coordinate sequencing of tasks for optimal workflow.
• Manage crew performance through effective management practices; foster a team-oriented environment focused on safety and productivity.

Experience

• Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management roles with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites.
• Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety protocols including OSHA standards, and federal safety compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects simultaneously using Primavera P6 or Primavera scheduling tools.
• Strong understanding of construction drawing review, schematics interpretation, and blueprint reading skills.
• Hands-on experience with construction site safety management, quality control procedures, and budget oversight.
• Proficiency in managing contracts, change orders, and project documentation through industry-standard software like ProCore or Bluebeam.
• Skilled in crew management with excellent managerial communication abilities; capable of motivating teams while maintaining high safety standards.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical instruments such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting when needed.
• Construction site experience within commercial or federal projects is highly desirable; familiarity with pipeline projects is a plus.
