Construction Foreman

Job Summary

SMARTHOUSE PHILIPPINES is looking for an experienced and reliable Construction Foreman who will oversee daily site activities, supervise workers, and ensure that construction works are completed safely, properly, and according to project plans and schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
• Assign tasks and monitor the productivity of workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure that construction work follows approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and report updates or concerns to the Site Engineer/Project Management Team.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel.
• Ensure proper use, handling, and availability of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor compliance with safety rules and company policies on site.
• Identify construction issues and coordinate with the concerned personnel for appropriate solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and provide instructions to workers when necessary.
• Ensure that work is completed within the required timeline and quality standards.
• Perform other site-related duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Preferably with experience in construction, building, or related projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and site procedures.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Able to supervise and manage workers effectively.
• Physically fit and willing to work on a construction site.
• Willing to work 6 days a week.
• Willing to travel or be assigned to different project sites, as needed.
• Can start ASAP is an advantage.

Pay: Php17,000.00 - Php19,000.00 per month
