A leading construction contractor is seeking experienced Foremen and General Foremen to lead a major dry utility and underground power construction project in Los Angeles.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead daily field operations for underground power and dry utility construction , including trenching, conduit/duct banks, vaults, pull boxes, backfill, compaction, and restoration.
• Plan crew assignments, equipment, materials, and work sequencing while coordinating with inspectors, utility owners, customers, subcontractors, and project management.
• Enforce safe excavation practices, utility-location requirements, trenching/shoring standards, traffic control, and daily job hazard analyses. Maintain accurate time-and-materials documentation , including labor/equipment hours, material quantities, delays, extra work, photographs, and daily production records.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-15 years of direct foreman experience in dry utilities, underground power, or closely related underground public works ; strong ability to read plans, profiles, utility markings, and specifications required.
• Union background or eligibility required; Operating Engineers, Laborers, or Teamsters experience is highly valued. Backhoe operating experience, Los Angeles municipal utility experience, and English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred.
• Candidates must reside in Los Angeles or Ventura County. Western Riverside and San Bernardino Counties are acceptable if the candidate can reliably report to changing Los Angeles job sites and early start times.
