Construction helper & Carpenter

Duties

• Assist carpenters and construction crews with framing, drywall installation, and finishing work
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate project execution
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry tasks as needed
• Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Support with roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation projects
• Aid in construction painting, caulking, and drywall finishing to ensure polished results
• Help with heavy lifting of materials and equipment to maintain workflow momentum
• Assist in plumbing, electrical work, and other handyman tasks to support diverse project needs
• Follow safety protocols diligently while conducting site inspections and maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications

• Prior construction experience or background in carpentry or woodworking preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, masonry techniques, and construction safety standards
• Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry is a plus
• Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
• Valid safety certifications or willingness to obtain relevant training is desirable

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
