Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in various construction activities, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
• Support carpentry tasks including cabinet installation, framing, and general woodwork.
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, caulking, painting, and drywall finishing to ensure quality finishes.
• Aid in masonry work, concrete forming, plumbing installations, electrical wiring, and welding tasks as needed.
• Operate heavy machinery safely for excavation, lifting, or material transport in accordance with safety protocols.
• Assist with restoration projects and construction estimating activities to support project planning and execution.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics enhances your ability to support various project phases.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while following detailed instructions and safety guidelines.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
