Duties

• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment under supervision to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing.
• Support carpentry activities including demo, installation of flooring, tile laying
• Participate in restoration projects by preparing surfaces for painting or caulking and applying finishes as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for construction projects.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and the operation of heavy equipment.
• Prior construction experience is highly preferred; eagerness to learn on the job is essential.
• Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
• Familiarity with masonry techniques, welding basics, carpentry skills including framing and cabinetry.
• Ability to support electrical or plumbing tasks with guidance from licensed professionals.
• Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities; safety-conscious mindset at all times.
