Job Purpose

Hattan Investments is looking for motivated and hardworking Construction Helpers to support our construction and maintenance teams in building, renovating, and maintaining our hospitality and tourism facilities.

This is an entry-level position. Previous construction experience is not required. We are looking for people who are willing to work, learn new skills, follow instructions, and develop themselves into skilled professionals within the company.

The employee will mainly work within the Construction & Maintenance Department, but must be flexible to support other company departments when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist skilled workers including masons, carpenters, steel workers, shuttering/formwork workers, plumbers, electricians, painters, welders, and maintenance technicians.

* Assist with construction, renovation, repair, installation, and maintenance work.

* Carry, move, load and offload construction materials, tools and equipment.

* Prepare and organize materials and tools for skilled workers.

* Assist with shuttering, steel work, masonry, carpentry and general building activities under supervision.

* Clean and organize construction and maintenance sites before, during, and after work.

* Follow instructions from Foremen, Supervisors, Engineers and skilled workers.

* Maintain tools and equipment properly and report any damage.

* Follow all company HSE, PPE and site-safety requirements.

* Support traffic and crowd-management teams during busy tourism weekends when assigned.

* Support company events and adventure/tourism operations when additional manpower is required.

* Provide temporary support to F&B and other operational departments when required.

* Perform other reasonable general duties assigned by management.

* Be willing to work across different tasks and departments depending on operational requirements.

Candidate Requirements

* No previous experience required – training will be provided.

* Physically fit and capable of performing manual construction work safely.

* Willing to work outdoors and in construction-site conditions.

* Hardworking, disciplined and punctual.

* Able to follow instructions and safety procedures.

* Willing to learn from experienced tradesmen and supervisors.

* Flexible and willing to perform multiple types of work.

* Positive attitude and good teamwork.

* Ambitious and interested in developing a long-term career with the company.
