Construction Intern (INTAKE OCT 2026)

About the role

This is an internship position in civil construction works focused on site coordination and management activities. You will assist with daily site operations, coordinate workers and subcontractors, and support the project management team in ensuring work meets project requirements, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to project requirements and schedule
• Coordinate and monitor workers, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site
• Ensure site work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and construction drawings
• Assist the project and construction management team in resolving site issues
• Monitor project progress and report site updates to management
• Attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients when required
• Maintain proper site documentation, records, and reporting
• Monitor material usage, manpower deployment, and overall site productivity

About you

• Study in civil construction works
• Strong leadership and site coordination skills
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage site operations effectively
• Familiar with site safety requirements and construction procedures
• Willing to be based in Melaka
