Duties

• Perform skilled construction tasks across multiple trades, including but not limited to carpentry, concrete, framing, and finishing, ensuring work meets project specifications and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to execute tasks accurately
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently to complete assigned duties
• Collaborate with project manager, foreman, and other tradespeople to coordinate activities and maintain workflow momentum
• Adhere to all company policies regarding conduct, craftsmanship and safety
• Assist in troubleshooting on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain project timelines
• Document work progress accurately in daily reports and communicate updates effectively to supervisors

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman in the construction industry with a strong understanding of multiple trades
• Ability to read detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications with precision
• Proficiency in operating various hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to on-site challenges
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination on busy job site
