Construction Laborer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating a variety of projects, from commercial to residential sites. Your hands-on work will help bring blueprints and technical drawings to life, ensuring that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including handling heavy lifting and moving materials.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support construction plans and specifications.
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality craftsmanship.
• Install rebar, metal stud framing, masonry elements, and perform carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry and framing.
• Support installation of hardscape features, roofing, stucco, plastering, caulking, flooring, restoration work, and renovation projects.
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure compliance on-site at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of concrete forming, concrete finishing, masonry, roofing, or restoration is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading construction plans or schematics.
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while adhering to safety protocol regulations.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions; ability to work on-site for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of construction workplace safety regulations; relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in carpentry (including frame carpentry), metal stud framing, plastering or stucco work is advantageous.

Pay: $25.19 - $30.34 per hour
