Duties

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment
• Operate hand tools and power tools to support framing, formwork construction, concrete pouring, and finishing tasks
• Support rebar installation, concrete cutting, and concrete pumping activities to ensure structural integrity
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
• Perform heavy lifting and material handling for supplies such as concrete mixers, scaffolding, and building materials
• Aid in masonry work, stucco application, roofing installation, and tile laying as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge combined with experience working on various construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete finishing techniques
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation
• Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation (caulking, trim carpentry), plastering, restoration work, and flooring installation
• Understanding of safety regulations specific to the construction industry and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working on scaffolding or roofs, and long hours at the job site
