Duties

• Assist with the setup and dismantling of formwork and scaffolding, ensuring proper alignment and safety compliance
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps to facilitate construction tasks
• Prepare and pour concrete, including mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete surfaces according to specifications
• Install rebar, metal studs, and framing components following blueprints and technical drawings for structural integrity
• Interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately execute tasks like masonry, stucco application, or trim carpentry
• Support the installation of heavy-duty materials such as masonry blocks, stucco finishes, or masonry units on-site
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials
• Perform general labor duties such as lifting heavy materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting with renovation or remodeling projects

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, cutting, and pouring techniques is ideal
• Understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards is essential
• Practical skills in carpentry, masonry, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, or stucco application are beneficial
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other construction equipment safely
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions throughout the construction project lifecycle

Pay: $24.40 - $29.38 per hour
