Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material organization
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently to support various tasks
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving materials, equipment, and debris around the site
• Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality results
• Install rebar, metal studs, framing, and perform masonry work according to blueprints and schematics
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately
• Follow all safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards and protocols

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating tools and understanding construction equipment
• Construction estimating skills for assessing materials and project requirements (nice-to-have)
• Experience with hardscape installation, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, or renovation projects (preferred)
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise execution of tasks
• Proficiency with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and formwork construction
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete cutting equipment
• Experience working on diverse construction projects such as restoration or framing carpentry (preferred)
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality work standards
