Construction Laborer

Duties

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including site cleanup and material organization
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as framing, formwork construction, concrete cutting, and finishing
• Support concrete pouring, mixing, and finishing activities, ensuring adherence to blueprint specifications and safety protocols
• Install rebar, metal studs, and formwork according to technical drawings and construction plans
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following proper safety procedures
• Help with masonry work, tile laying, stucco application, plastering, caulking, and flooring installation
• Operate heavy equipment such as mixers or forklifts when trained and certified under safety regulations
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or renovation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, pouring, and cutting enhances your ability to contribute effectively
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols is essential
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on-site in various weather conditions is necessary
• Previous experience with heavy equipment operation or metal stud framing is beneficial but not required

Pay: $22.66 - $27.29 per hour
