Construction Laborer

Duties

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization at all times
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps under supervision
• Prepare construction materials including formwork construction, rebar installation, and concrete pouring
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to support accurate execution of projects
• Perform tasks related to masonry, stucco application, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and plastering
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
• Support specialized activities such as concrete cutting, concrete finishing, metal stud framing, caulking, and restoration work

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately for various tasks including formwork construction and masonry
• Demonstrated physical capability for heavy lifting, working at heights (roofing), and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
• Experience with concrete-related activities such as pouring, finishing, cutting, and concrete pumping enhances your candidacy
• Strong understanding of general construction practices including carpentry, metal stud framing, renovation techniques, and tile installation

Pay: $23.36 - $28.14 per hour
