Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
• Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other equipment safely and effectively
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to support accurate execution of tasks
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure durable structures
• Install rebar, metal stud framing, masonry elements, and perform plastering or stucco work as needed
• Support heavy lifting activities and assist with concrete pumping and concrete cutting operations
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating processes
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings
• Experience with concrete forming, concrete finishing, and concrete pouring techniques
• Knowledge of masonry, stucco application, trim carpentry, caulking, and renovation work
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment safely
• Proficiency in rebar installation, metal stud framing, formwork construction, and concrete cutting
• Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol standards
