Duties

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and other building components while maintaining proper safety protocols
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute tasks such as metal stud framing, or tile laying
• Conduct site cleanup, organize tools and materials, and ensure compliance with construction workplace safety regulations at all times
• Support specialized tasks like caulking, plastering, flooring installation, or restoration work as needed on various projects

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working on construction projects
• Ability to read blueprint specifications and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, and power tools
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for all team members
• Experience in carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry or metal stud framing; knowledge of drywall finishing is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout long shifts
• Skilled in interpreting construction plans for renovation or restoration projects involving flooring or tile installation
