Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, ensuring that work progresses efficiently and safely. Your hands-on contributions will help bring building visions to life, from foundational work to finishing touches. Duties

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials around the site
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to assist with tasks like framing, drywall installation, and concrete work
• Support concrete-related activities including mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction
• Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprint specifications for structural support
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist with masonry work, roofing, stucco application, flooring installation, and restoration projects as needed
• Support heavy equipment operation under supervision for tasks such as concrete pumping or excavation activities
• Aid in the installation of drywall, trim carpentry, caulking, plastering, and other finishing work to meet project standards

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork is desirable
• Understanding of construction safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools is essential
• Experience with heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment will be beneficial
• Background in masonry, roofing, drywall installation or renovation projects will support success in this role

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
