Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
• Support concrete pouring, finishing, and cutting activities, including working with concrete mixers and pumps
• Install rebar and assist with formwork construction to shape concrete structures according to blueprints and specifications
• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately
• Perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety regulations on-site
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with construction workplace safety standards

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar laborer role is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
• Familiarity with heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, or cutting tools is a plus
• Understanding of construction safety regulations and protocol adherence is essential for maintaining a safe work environment
• Hands-on experience with carpentry, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, or renovation work is beneficial
• Ability to perform tasks involving concrete finishing, rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete pumping demonstrates versatility in the field

Pay: $24.84 - $29.91 per hour
