Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
• Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete according to project specifications
• Install rebar and metal studs as part of formwork construction for concrete structures
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety protocols
• Aid in the installation of drywall, stucco, plastering, caulking, and tile laying for renovation projects
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
• Ability to interpret blueprint specifications and technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and concrete finishing equipment
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Skills in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and metal stud framing are highly desirable
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work on uneven surfaces for extended periods
• Basic carpentry skills including drywall installation and renovation work are a plus

Pay: $25.71 - $30.96 per hour

Expected hours: 21.0 – 35.0 per week
