General Laborer – DeAngelis Development

DeAngelis Development is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. If you're motivated, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe worksite by collecting trash, debris, and waste
• Conduct general maintenance tasks
• Operate power tools and machinery as needed (e.g., chop saws, jackhammers, packers)
• Lift and carry loads of at least 40 lbs
• Follow instructions from supervisors and managers
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in construction/earthworks
• Own vehicle for transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions (windy, dusty, noisy, hot/cold)
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots, hard hat, and high-visibility vest
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads
• Must be a team player

Assets (Bonus Qualifications):

• CSTS and WHMIS certifications
• Experience operating construction tools and equipment

Pay: $17.40-$26.70 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
