In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of construction tasks, support skilled tradespeople, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to building structures that stand the test of time, all while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities

• Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow
• Support carpentry tasks including cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, and framing work
• Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to ensure durable and high-quality results
• Handle demolition, restoration work, or painting projects as needed to meet project specifications
• Assist with plumbing, electrical work, or welding tasks under supervision to expand your technical skills

Qualifications

• Prior construction experience or relevant training is highly preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project instructions
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation is a plus
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor throughout the day
• Basic understanding of construction disciplines such as carpentry, masonry, drywall installation, or flooring is advantageous
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
