Construction Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your energy and attention to safety will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools
• Support the installation of concrete forms, rebar, and other structural components according to blueprints and technical drawings
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, cutting tools, and finishing equipment to pour, level, and finish concrete surfaces
• Interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate placement of materials and adherence to specifications
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while following all workplace safety regulations and protocols
• Assist with the installation of drywall, stucco, plastering, caulking, and other finishing tasks for renovation projects
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe construction environment

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting equipment
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
• Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and proper use of hand tools for various tasks
• Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence
• Practical experience working on diverse construction projects such as renovations, heavy civil work, or commercial builds

Pay: $24.91 - $29.99 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
