Construction Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. Your hands-on skills and knowledge of construction processes will help bring building visions to life, from groundwork to finishing touches. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow blueprints and technical drawings to interpret specifications for concrete forming, rebar installation, and formwork construction
• Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and stucco application to meet project standards
• Install rebar and construct formwork according to detailed plans and safety protocols
• Support the installation of drywall, plastering, caulking, and other finishing tasks for renovation projects
• Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site safety regulations
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
• Familiarity with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and related processes
• Skills in carpentry, drywall installation, rebar placement, formwork construction, and stucco application preferred
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and working on various construction sites under different conditions
• Strong attention to detail with excellent safety protocol adherence and teamwork skills

Pay: $25.42 - $30.61 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 – 33.0 per week
