Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
• Support skilled workers with tasks such as concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively in accordance with safety regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of plans
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for masonry, framing, rebar installation, drywall installation, and roofing
• Aid in concrete mixing, pumping, cutting, finishing, and curing processes to achieve desired results
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpretation of technical specifications is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete pouring, and finishing techniques is desirable
• Familiarity with operating heavy machinery and equipment used in construction sites enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Understanding of safety standards related to construction workplaces ensures compliance and promotes a safe working environment
• Basic carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and restoration work are beneficial
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout various phases of construction projects

Pay: $26.13 - $31.47 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 38.0 per week
