Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Construction Laborers to join our road construction team. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid background in concrete, asphalt, and general construction work who are looking to apply their skills on diverse projects. As an experienced laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing advanced tasks that contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality results and smooth project progress. This position offers opportunities for growth within the construction industry and involves travel throughout Texas.

Responsibilities: Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete pouring to ensure structural integrity and quality standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to complete tasks such as concrete cutting, finishing, and material handling. Perform heavy lifting and transportation of materials around the site while adhering to safety regulations. Support demolition, restoration, or renovation activities as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure workplace for all team members.

Qualifications: Proven experience working on Maintenance projects, particularly with concrete and asphalt. Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment. In-depth knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, formwork construction, rebar installation, and related tasks. Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices for active sites. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing or walking outdoors in various weather conditions. Demonstrated teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills. Willingness to travel throughout the state; ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Travel Pay, Lodging, and daily per diem will be provided.

• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to ensure a secure environment for everyone on site.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly desirable. (Concrete / Asphalt)
• Basic knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, & power tools.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, formwork construction, and rebar installation.
• Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices for working on active sites.
• Experience driving a truck mounted attenuator is a plus
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork skills with the motivation to learn new skills.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Texas (Home on the Weekend)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
