Duties

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including moving materials and tools
• Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently
• Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation to ensure quality standards are met
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to follow project specifications accurately
• Help construct formwork, scaffolding, framing, drywall, stucco, and other structural elements
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as carrying materials, installing flooring or tile, and working on roofing or restoration projects
• Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols at all times

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
• Familiarity with construction tools including hand tools, power tools, concrete cutters, and plastering equipment
• Experience with concrete finishing techniques such as pouring, screeding, troweling, and surface smoothing
• Understanding of heavy lifting procedures and safety practices in a construction environment
• Ability to work effectively within a team on diverse projects such as renovation, restoration, or new build sites
• Basic knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols is essential

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
