Duties

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers to facilitate tasks such as concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and rebar installation
• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to support accurate execution of project specifications
• Perform heavy lifting and manual labor for tasks including masonry, framing, drywall installation, stucco application, and flooring installation
• Support concrete forming, formwork construction, concrete pumping, and concrete cutting activities
• Install rebar and perform concrete finishing to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and maintain awareness of hazards at all times

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a construction workplace environment is highly desirable
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction estimating processes is a plus
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings enhances your ability to contribute effectively
• Hands-on experience with carpentry—including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and renovation work—is beneficial
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Understanding of masonry techniques, tile laying, stucco application, drywall installation, caulking, and flooring installation is advantageous
• Demonstrated commitment to construction site safety regulations and proper use of safety equipment

Pay: $25.37 - $30.55 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 38.0 per week
