In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your hands-on work will involve assisting with precast concrete erecting , steel/wood framing, commercial roofing, and other essential construction activities. Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and dismantling of construction sites, including preparing materials and organizing tools
• Help with steel framing, formwork construction, bracing installation, and precast concrete pieces to meet project specifications
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as concrete anchoring, welding, and commercial roofing installations
• Learn to Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working with heavy machinery, and general site safety regulations
• Perform new construction or restoration work as needed for renovation projects or site cleanup

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry or steel erecting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction blueprint specification interpretation is a plus
• Familiarity with heavy machinery including telehandler and man lifts is advantageous
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately to support precise construction activities
• Experience with various construction tasks such as , caulking, and installation of precast concrete preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of workplace safety regulations specific to the construction industry
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of working in the outdoors in various weather conditions
