Duties

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components
• Support concrete pouring, mixing, and finishing to create durable foundations and structures
• Install rebar, formwork, and metal studs according to blueprints and schematics for accurate construction
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise execution of construction plans
• Perform heavy lifting and material handling to move supplies efficiently around the site
• Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment

Requirements

• Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade is highly preferred
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, cutting, and pouring techniques
• Experience with masonry, drywall installation, roofing, stucco, plastering, or renovation work is a plus
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete pumping systems
• Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, work at heights (roofing), and stand for extended periods

Pay: $24.72 - $29.77 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
